WHO WE ARE
LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS
Since 2002, our association has been committed to strengthening education, inclusion, and equal opportunities across diverse communities. Our work primarily focuses on supporting socially disadvantaged individuals—especially families with migration backgrounds—so they can fully participate in social, democratic, and professional life.
We place particular emphasis on empowering families who have migrated, helping them better understand and navigate their children’s everyday experiences in a new cultural and educational environment.
A key part of our mission is the empowerment of women. We support women in gaining professional qualifications, developing new skills, and increasing their active participation in community life. At the same time, we support strong family networks and encourage intercultural exchange through shared activities and community engagement.
We also accompany children and young people—both with and without migration backgrounds—in shaping their educational journeys. Our aim is to provide guidance, orientation, and encouragement so that every child can reach their full potential.
In our early years, our work included thematic women’s meetings, awareness campaigns (such as International Women’s Day events), and vocational training programmes like “Kindergarten Assistant” certification courses. Over time, our activities expanded to include seminars and interactive workshops on a wide range of topics related to psychosocial well-being and social development.
Since 2018, we have been actively engaged in Erasmus+ Adult Education projects. Through KA1 mobility programmes, we held seminars for teachers and education professionals, and we have participated as partners in three major KA2 projects focusing on addiction prevention, single parenthood, and school climate development.
In recent years, we have further strengthened our focus on practical, school-based work. Within the framework of the „Starke Schule, Starke Gesellschaft “(Strong School, Strong Society) programme, initiated by the Austrian federal ministries and managed by OEAD, we deliver interactive workshops in schools.
Drawing on decades of professional experience in education, we design and implement innovative learning formats that address socially relevant topics while also providing meaningful psychosocial support.
Our mission continues to evolve, but our vision remains the same: to create inclusive learning spaces where individuals are empowered, communities are strengthened, and education becomes a bridge to a better future.
